TLC LAX

Crash pads have become a popular option for travelers to find affordable lodging options worldwide. And for some of our workforce’s most frequent flyers–flight attendants and pilots–crash pads are a huge step above sleeping in an uncomfortable chair in an airport terminal, which many of them have had to resort to on occasion!

According to Discover Los Angeles, LAX offers 645 commercial flights A DAY. That’s a lot of aviation professionals looking for a convenient, low-cost and comfortable place to spend their layover.

Does LAX Have Sleep Pods for Airline Employees?

You may have wondered: Does LAX have sleep pods or other resting options for airline employees? You may be surprised to learn that most airports don’t have a place for aviation professionals to rest comfortably (and privately) between flights. And the cost of hotel rooms and Airbnbs doesn’t make it a viable option for flight attendants and pilots who are frequently away from home to rest and recharge.

Sure, there are plenty of LAX crashpad options in Los Angeles, but many consist of multiple bunk beds crammed into a spare bedroom in an apartment. Not necessarily the best way to have a relaxing layover.

Introducing The Layover Club - an LAX Crashpad

That’s why we launched The Layover Club (TLC). And we offer more than just convenient LAX sleep pods to the aviation industry. Iride Inglewood is a FREE shuttle that runs between LAX and Inglewood, picking up and dropping off within walking distance of TLC. This is a HUGE cost-saver when you consider that the average ride-share option for the same distance would cost around $30 each way.

Setting TLC apart from other LAX crashpads are our resting pods that feature queen-size mattresses, sliding doors for privacy, USB ports and LED lighting. Take a nap, crash for the night, or just read a book in peace while you wait for your next flight.

A fully stocked (sans food) kitchen features a refrigerator, stove, microwave, coffee maker and dishes/utensils. Other items of convenience include an iron and ironing board, a hair dryer, indoor and outdoor common areas, and rentable lockers to store your items overnight or in between stays.

Booking An LAX Sleeping Pod Is Fast and Easy

TLC’s easy-to-use app allows you to quickly sign up and book one night or a few. Once you become a member, you can book a pod for tonight…or next week…or a month from now. Pay as you go or choose our On Demand option, which allows you to book up to 10 nights a month for one monthly fee.

Refer A Friend, Stay for Free!

Another way we try to accommodate the aviation community is through our referral program. It's the perfect way for us to help you with travel costs while we grow our community. Members who refer a friend who becomes a member will receive a free night’s stay!

So the next time you’re looking for an LAX crashpad, give TLC a try. Take a respite from your busy lifestyle with us and get ready to soar!
