Club Rules & Policies
Welcome to TLC!
We hope your experience with us is truly restful and relaxing — a home away from home. In the following paragraphs, we’ve laid out some simple guidelines for all TLC members to respect while at one of our properties. We hope that this will ensure a comfortable stay for all our members while on reserve, training, or before a trip. As always, reach out to us with any questions; we’re here to help.
TLC RULES
When you booked your TLC subscription, you agreed to some TLC policies, so please make sure you follow the rules that you agreed to. Our TLC Rules are there to keep things in order, and following them can help everything go smoothly.
1. The Layover Club is exclusively for COMMUTING flight attendants, pilots, and other airline professionals only.
2. You can have packages sent to TLC, but at your own risk. TLC is not responsible for lost or missing items, and we do not have a front desk for items to be left (so no 'signatures required' packages). Packages will be brought inside when found on the steps outside. TLC is not responsible for paper mail of any kind, and any paper mail will be sent back as "Does Not Live Here".
3. Don’t download all of your movies and TV series; stream them instead. This will lessen the stress on the internet speed.
4. Please keep the facility quiet between 10 PM – 9 AM and the sleeping area quiet at all times. Please don’t slam doors.
5. Clean pans/utensils after your meal – don’t leave them in the sink.
6. Acknowledge people when they come and say hi. (I know it sounds obvious, but we all get lost in our screens/books sometimes – and being ignored can make others feel lonely or insecure). Learn the names of your fellow members and take the time to introduce yourself.
7. Guests of any kind are not allowed at TLC. TLC is for members only.
8. Please use headphones when listening to music or watching movies.
9. Don´t leave personal belongings in the common area.
10. We offer private clothing/pantry lockers ($15 a month) and luggage lockers ($20) for rent to secure your belongings while you’re away. Keep your valuables in your private lockers at all times.
11. If cooking smelly food, please ventilate to reduce a lingering smell.
12. Keep bathroom utilities in your accessory bag or a basket that you can bring in/out as you use them.
13. Please use the vanity area to do hair and makeup so the bathroom is free for others to use.
14. Be sure to close the doors and windows securely when leaving the property, and make sure the exterior doors are locked at all times.
15. Please refrain from entering any of the other pods. We’ll ensure your space is likewise respected in return.
16. TLC is for working and commuting professionals, so parties are not allowed. Though we’re sure it won’t come to it, serious complaints of unruly behavior will unfortunately result in you being asked to forfeit your membership.
17. Be sure to check in within 4 hours of your reservation start time or before 50% of your reservation has passed (whichever occurs first). Not checking in within that time frame will result in the system marking you as a no-show, and your reservation will be canceled so the pod is available for another guest. You can always edit your check-in time yourself if you’re going to arrive later, so long as it’s not past your scheduled check-in time (if your check-in time has passed, we’re happy to assist during regular business hours, so please reach out).
18. If you don't check out on or before your scheduled check-out time, a missed checkout fee of $25 will be charged. Please follow the checkout procedure in your account before leaving the property.
19. Need to cancel your reservation? Please do so at least 24 hours prior to your day of check-in. All Access Members will receive a full credit to their account. Cancel within 24 hours of check-in and receive 50% of the unused hours credited back to your monthly hour bank.
20. TLC doesn’t issue refunds, though, depending on the circumstance, credits for future night stays may be given.
21. While we do a thorough professional clean between stays, we kindly ask that you clean and put away any dishes or kitchenware used and flip your pod at the end of your stay by following the checkout instructions in your account. This helps us get through our cleaning process more quickly and keeps cleaning costs down for you and future guests.
22. We understand that accidents happen, but please let us know when they do. Chances are we can fix them and not have to charge the payment method we have on file.
23. We have a strict no smoking policy anywhere on TLC property.
24. TLC has a strict no drug use policy. This is just the law… not so much one of our rules.
25. To keep our costs down (and pass those savings on to our guests), please switch off lights when they’re not in use or when leaving the house.
26. All Access Members of The Layover Club can stay a maximum of 5 consecutive nights. Pay As You Go Members can stay for as many consecutive nights as they might need.

22. Need to cancel your reservation? Please do so at least 24 hours prior to your day of check-in to avoid additional charges. All-access members will be charged $48 for cancellations made within 24 hours of your day of check-in. Pay-as-you-go members will lose the reservation with no credit.
